How It WorksBy utilizing a sophisticated RISC Microprocessor the
Compu-Bias monitors both the cathode to plate voltage and cathode current
while calculating the total tube dissipation dynamically displaying it in real
time.
The measurements start with the probes. The probes are placed
between the amplifier and tube allowing access to the various points required
to make the voltage and current measurements.
These voltages are
converted in the probes to low level values and fed to the Compu-Bias for
measurement.
The Compu-Bias then mathematically calculates the
total tube dissipation.
The values of plate voltage, cathode current
and tube dissipation for each tube are displayed on an easy to read LCD display
in the Compu-Bias.
The Compu-Bias can dynamically display
the values for up to 2 tubes simultaneously.
Powers up automatically
when probe 1 is attached.
Powered by a standard 9v transistor battery.
Extremely low power consumption and sleep mode for extended battery
life.

NO NEED TO TAKE THE AMP APART
CHECK OUTPUT TUBE BIAS IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS1. LOCATE POWER TUBES
2. REMOVE POWER TUBES

3. INSTALL POWER TUBES AND COMPU-BIAS

Easily match output tubes in most
amps
Set up your amp for the sound you
want and verify you have the correct bias
Accuracy displays actual tube
dissipation (Iscreen+Iplate)*Vplate=Total Dissipation
Safer than using an ammeter across
the output transformer
You no longer need to modify every
amp you work on with a cathode resistor
No need drill holes and add
jacks
Safely measure plate
voltage
Easy to use
Battery Powered works with any
filament voltage AC or DC
Automatic
Great for DIY HIFI or
Guitar
Great for Experienced
